Charlotte Ann Bennett

She was born in Austin, Texas on December 10, 1939. Charlotte graduated from Austin High School. She received a real estate license from the state of Texas and completed training in criminal justice.

Charlotte was married to Lt. Col. Norman Bennett Ret. Her love in life was devotion to her family and her cats and she had a loving and caring spirit for all those around her. She was a gifted artist and gardener. She had a passion for cat rescue and all UT sports, especially UT football. She is preceded in death by her momma and daddy, Marjorie and Paul Davis, brother Roy Lee Davis and niece Theresa Evans.

Charlotte is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David and Florence Davis, her sister and brother-in-law, Paula and John Landers, nieces and nephews, Toni, Brandon, Summer, Carl, Darren, and Candice.

A memorial celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home at 6100 North Lamar Austin, Texas 78752.
