My biggest condolences go to his children, Jennifer and Brett. This man has took me in as one of his children from the day I became best friends with Jennifer, which was in the sixth grade. He has taught me to always smile, and make a joke out of any situation good or bad he’s probably the one he taught me how to talk crap and why I’m so good at it.lol 
He’s always consider me as his redhead stepchild, and his second daughter and I was blessed to be a part of their family. from singing Nelly with Jennifer and I n the  truck  to having us follow him around the golf course not mention the countless laughs and wonderful memories.

I’ll never forget the last time I saw Charlie in June of 2020.  The nation was 3 months isolated in the pandemic and Charlie was doing what he was known for----helping out a friend.  Dave had become fragile and not as strong as he once was and we were trying to replace the water heater in our mobile home.  The new one had to be lifted into the outside “closet” and the two of us just weren’t strong enough!  Charlie showed up with his buddy and binga-bama-boom!  They were done in 2 minutes and Charlie refused to take any pay at all!!  “This is what friends are for, Smitty”……………..  He was such a sweetheart.  Rest in Peace, dear Charlie Hall, our thoughts are with you and your family who you loved so much.  Becca and Dave

The last birthday dinner together never thought it would be so.

It was always good to see him for the holidays. His advice was always to the point with sugar on it. Missing you everyday pops. Just need one more round of nine with you.

So sorry to hear this. Charlie was genuine. When I moved to Austin, he took me golfing; sightseeing and introduced  me to his family. He was truly one of a kind. He always made me smile and was fun. Praying for the family. Service falls on my birthday. Bittersweet.

The guy knew concrete inside and out. Thank God he was on my first job.

Going to work every day wasn’t like going to work when Charlie was on site. He was like family. Being around Charlie reminded me to reflect on who I was, what I was about, and how I showed up in the lives of the people around me.  Charlie would always have a gift or a card and be present for my daughter’s  birthday and for holidays. He would always have kind words to offer. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone he cares about. I feel humbled and honored to have been in Charlie’s life and am proud to call him a friend. I will miss our conversations, our jokes, his guidance, and his company. My family will miss Charlie. I will miss Charlie. I’m grateful that Charlie, Jason, and myself got to build a project and became close friends thereafter.
