

Charles "Chuck" Wayne Prasek, 58, of Austin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was born in Houston, Texas on October 14, 1957 to Allan Prasek Sr. and Edith Clinger. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother and father, and his brother, Allen Junior. Chuck was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother and leaves behind son Philip Prasek and daughter-in-law Kayla Prasek; daughters Elaine Prasek and Alejandra Vital; grandsons Silas Prasek and Declan Prasek; as well as his brother Lawrence Prasek; and step-mother Sheila Prasek.
He was part-owner and employee of Central Texas construction company Textruss for over 26 years, and a member of Gateway Church in Austin. Chuck loved riding his motorcycle, cooking, gardening, fishing, golfing, hunting, astronomy and especially spending time with his family. He was an amazing storyteller and everywhere he went, good times followed. His vibrant soul exuded his appreciation for life and great love for his family. During holiday parties Chuck's deep, joyful laugh could be heard throughout the house as the grandkids taunted him to tickle them. Chuck blessed so many with his friendship. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
His life will be celebrated in a service at 10 am on Monday, February 8th at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Pflugerville, Texas. The burial will follow at 2 pm in Bastrop, Texas at Fairview Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 2pm-4pm on Sunday, February 7th at the North Lamar location of Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes. A reception will follow the visitation from 5:30pm-8:30pm and food will be provided at 130 Roberts Circle in Georgetown, Texas.
