He was born in Austin, TX on November 15th, 1976 to Robert and Shirley Bonner. A loving son, and brother to Brett Bonner; he was always up for an adventure. Exploring the fields behind their home, setting the back yard on fire, playing rough as boys do; Chad and Brett kept their parents on their toes.
Chad graduated from Bowie High School in 1994; and pursued Information Technology studies at Southwest Texas University in San Marcos, TX.
Chad was married to Joyce Blanchard on January 24, 2009 at the Salt Lick in Driftwood, TX; and kept her laughing for 11 years.
Chad had a career in Electronic Data Security for multiple companies: Renew Data Inc, and Cloud Imperium Games included.
To know Chad was to know true friendship, and his "Bonner hugs" were always in high demand. He was always ready to help anyone with their computer challenges with his usual smile and joking manner. He loved his family dearly; and his friends were considered part of the family. He enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons with groups of friends as well as computer games; and there was not a Marvel movie that he did not know by heart.
Chad is survived by his wife, Joyce, his father, Robert, nieces: Heather Bonner, Madeline, Lillian, and Isabelle Blanchard. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley; and his brother, Brett, as well as grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am, Friday, May 22nd at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks.
We will be live streaming the service for those who do not feel comfortable or cannot attend on Facebook Live: https://www.facebook.com/CookWaldenForestOaks.
If you have a small trinket that you would like to leave with Chad, please feel free to bring those to the service; he would love to be surrounded by things that gave you joy.
