Catherine (Gajdosik) Kilgore of Austin Texas passed from this life on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Cathy was born in Waco Texas to Louis and Margie Gajdosik and grew up in the city of West Texas. Cathy enjoyed many of the things life had to offer. She loved her husband and the love of her life Michael Wayne Kilgore and son and daughter in law Michael and Daniela. She enjoyed a good cup of bold coffee, and not a day went by without her making a Starbucks run. Cathy enjoyed traveling and seeing the sights with her friends and family, most notably almost being left on an island during a cruise with her best friend Rodney Lucas. Cathy cared so much about people and was the type of person that would do anything she could for others. Cathy enjoyed service work and spent many days volunteering at St Mary's Cathedral Church, where she attended church and her son attended school. She enjoyed her work at the State of Texas and was a loyal and hard worker. She made so many close friends while at the state. Most importantly, Cathy loved God with all her heart. She truly portrayed the love of God in her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wayne Kilgore; Father and Mother, Louis and Margie Gajdosik; Sister, Margie Gajdosik; Mother in Law, Francis Kilgore; Sister in Law, Elizabeth Lightfoot and brother in law, Douglas Wayne Duty.
Cathy is survived by her son and daughter in law Michael Derek and Daniela Kilgore and of course the grand pups Leo and Mitzi. Brother and Sister in Law Louis and Pam Gajdosik and their daughter Amanda Gajdosik. Brother in law Eugene Rejeck and his son Shawn Rejeck. She is also survived by her extended family Patrizia and Rey Perez; Robert Alan Olson Jr; Silvia Olson; Curtis and Darlene Kilgore; Charlotte and Harold Procter; Linda Kay Duty; Joe and Pattie Lightfoot; Tracy and Paula Lightfoot; Tim and Sharon Lightfoot; Trent Lightfoot; Richard and Pam Kilgore; Karen and Jimmie Channon; Velvet Goonan; Barbara Procter; Heather and Rick Grimmett; Priscilla and Paul Ober; Cynthia Stuart; Rodney Lucas; Tim Mertes; John and Jennifer Lucas; Sherill, Joe, Mike, and Karen Geraty; Donald and Sybel Williams; Carol and Greg Lozano. She is also survived by her close friends who she worked with for many years at the State of Texas in Austin.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at St. Mary's Cathedral. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery, West, Texas.
