A native of Austin, Bea passed away after a brief illness, just short of her 85th birthday. She was predeceased by her parents, Carrie Beatrice Grimmer and Wyatt Oliver Stone, Sr., her twin sister, Elizabeth Maddox, sister, Mildred Cary and brother, Wyatt Stone, Jr. She was dearly loved by her surviving nieces and nephews, Linda and John Toungate of Houston, Judy and Stanley Reese of Pearland, and Jud and Sally Cary of Horseshoe Bay, as well as all of their children who meant so much to her. After graduating from Austin High School in 1940, Bea was briefly employed by the Internal Revenue Service in Austin, but her favorite job was working at the greenhouses and thrift store at Marbridge, where she was not only a resident for the last 22 years, but the first lady to ever reside at Marbridge. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home followed by interment at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. Beas family wishes to give special thanks and appreciation to her staff and friends at Marbridge who helped make her life a special one. Thanks also to Dr. Smuts and the fourth floor nurses and aides at South Austin Hospital for their loving care and respect. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beas name to the Marbridge Foundation, P.O. Box 2250, Manchaca, TX 78652 or to the charity of your choice. Aunt Bea Thanks for the memories. We love you, miss you, and will never look at another Hershey Bar or Fig Newton and not think of you! Obituary and guestbook on line at wcfish.com
