Carolyn M. Ward

She was born in Freeport, Illinois on January 5, 1934. She worked for 20 years as a computer tech. She then continued working post-retirement at Fringe Benefits. She enjoyed her work and all the friends she made through the 10+ years there.

Carolyn was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was adored by her friends and family. Her laughter and smile will be missed greatly. She didn’t know a stranger and everyone she met became a life-long friend.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gerald Gollmer and James Isaacson, and beloved son Mike Muchow. She is survived by her brothers, Walter Gollmer (Evan’s GA), Lawrence Isaacson (Morrison, IL), William Gollmer (Sun City, AZ), Glen Gollmer (Marshall, WI); her children, Jeff Stevens and wife Ronda Stevens (Travelers Rest, SC), Nancy Green (Cedar Park, TX), and Don Skeeter Ward (Leander, TX); her grandchildren Jason Benjamin and wife Sara Saathoff (Cedar Park, TX), Jesse Benjamin and wife Jennifer Benjamin (Round Rock, TX), Kenny Green (Austin, TX), Kari Johnston (Austin, TX), Destiny Green (Cedar Park, TX), Mike Muchow (San Diego, CA), Jessica Bertrand (Corpus Christi, TX), Jeff Stevens (Cle Elum, Washington), Justin Stevens (Phoenix, AZ) and Jeremy Davis Stevens (Woodrift, SC); and her great-grandchildren, Sean Bertrand (Cedar Park, TX), Joey Bertrand (Cedar Park, TX), Alec Bertrand (Cedar Park, TX), Michael Bertrand (Cedar Park, TX), Jayden Benjamin (Round Rock, TX), and Arya Madison Davis (Woodrift, SC).

Memorial service to be held at Jardin Del Rey’s in Leander, Texas on Thursday, December 5th at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, her family is requesting monetary donations.
