Calvin Lewis

A graduate from the University of Texas, Calvin was an artist, avid book collector, and never lost his love of learning.

He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne Lewis and his parents.

Calvin is survived by his special family at Hill County Care in Dripping Springs; nephew and wife, Randy and Marilyn Heckmann; sisters-in-law, Laura Heckmann and Lily Drews; along with numerous extended family.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2011 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with The Reverend Elizabeth Hanley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Calvin’s honor to Spirit in the Hills Lutheran Mission, P.O. Box 810, Spicewood, Texas 78669, or a charity of your choice.
