He started as a young MP in the army, then continued his career as a state trooper for 22 years and 7 years as a State Capital Police Officer. He was the co-owner of B & B Creative Wood Products with his wife Billie S. Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Billie S. Miller, two daughters Ruth and Kellie and three children from a previous marriage Debbie, George and Donna, as well as many grandchildren and great grand children.
The family would like to thank all who cared for him at Scott & White Round Rock and Temple, as well as Our House of Central Texas. He had great pleasure entertaining the elderly people on a regular occasion.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 28, 2016 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills , 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas 78750. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home.
