Beth Patterson

Beth Patterson, 52, passed on January 25, 2022, surrounded by family. Beth was born in Tacoma, Washington, then moved to Austin as an infant and became a true Austinite. She graduated from LBJ High (87) and later UT Austin with a BS in Communication. After 25 years, Beth retired from the State Health Department and was a Realtor Broker at Beth Patterson Realty.

Beth was very kind, loving and compassionate with an engaging personality and strong Christian heart. Her husband and children were her greatest loves and filled her with immense pride and joy. She enjoyed being involved in all aspects of her children’s lives. Beth was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her loving presence in the lives of all who knew her will leave an indelible mark on their hearts forever.

Beth is preceded in death by her father LTC Alton Kieschnick, her Step-father Howard Schmidt, Father –in-law Dicke Patterson, Step-sister Becky Jean Ray, step-brother Keith Schmidt.

Beth is survived by the absolute love of her life and husband of 23 years, Sam Patterson; her beautiful children Parker, Hannah and Spencer; mother Marty Schmidt; brother Greg Kieschnick (Laura), step brother Randy Schmidt (Becky), stepsisters Debbie Parsley (Blayne), Kerry McFarland, Lisa Moseley (Phil), Brothers in law Zach Patterson (Maria), Mike Patterson (Chris), numerous nieces, nephews and members of her extended families.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 31st from 5:00pm -7:00pm at Cook Walden Funeral Home at 6100 N Lamar 78752. Funeral Service will be at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church at 9508 Great Hills Trail, 78759 at 11:00am.
