He attended Marble Falls High School and then graduated from Johnston High School in Austin. He proudly served his country for 33 years in the United States Military in both the Air Force and Army National Guard. As a retired veteran he continued to serve his community as an Austin ISD security guard at Travis HS for 9 years.
He will be remembered for his competitive spirit as a multi-sport athlete. Even in his retirement he still loved to play fast pitch softball for the 76ers, Die Hards, and La Familia.
We all know his love for the Texas Longhorns and New York Yankees ran deep. He loved Tejano music and dancing to his favorite songs with the love of his life. His charisma and bright smile could light up a room, and we know that same smile is lighting up Heaven.
Services are January 14th at 3PM and will be held at Weed Corley Fish funeral home, 2620 S. Congress, Austin, Texas 78704.
