She was born June 6, 1936, in Austin, Texas, a daughter of the late Leandro Lara and Josephina V. Lara.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Joe Rios; brother, Robert Lara; sister-in-law, Victoria Lara; and nephew, Andrew Lara.
Beatrice is survived by sisters, Esther Benavides and Alice (Elisa) Lara; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church as a devoted parishioner and volunteered with the church pre-school. She was awarded the Lumen Gentium.
Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 10000 David Moore Drive.
Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 South IH-35.
