   I met Barbara when our kids were at Balcones Little league together and we became dear friends. Barbara and I had so much fun when she modeled at styles shows for Melba's Boutique. She was not only beautiful she was talented and a real lady. I enjoyed her company so much.  Barbara always had a smile on her face even when she told me of her impending disease. She faced her illness with courage and love for her family. I will miss her hugs and I pray for Pat, Elaine and all her children and grandchildren.

Kathren and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was always so wonderful to us. She was a great woman and will be missed. She is in heaven now, celebrating with Jesus. Your family is in our prayers.

Barbara was one of the Bay City Beach Chicks.  From the 2000's, we would get together for a Girls Weekend.  I had the pleasure of driving her to the outings.  Speaking for the BCBC's, we love you and will miss you.  But you left us with some special, funny, and the best memories.  Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
