Avery Kate Zamora, beloved sister, aunt, niece, cousin, granddaughter and daughter died on October 26, 2015 after a courageous 2 year battle with Ewing's Sarcoma. She was born on November 11, 1993 in Austin, Texas. She lived her entire life in Austin attending schools in the Eanes School District and San Juan Diego Catholic High School. She was working on her Business Degree at Austin Community College with an eye toward becoming an Aesthetician.
Avery is survived by her beautiful ray of sunshine, Shannon; her parents, Florencio and Katherine Zamora; her brother, Kevin Zamora; her sisters, Nicole Botello and Ami Mayfield and her husband Jonathan; her nieces, Chloe and Adeline; her nephews, Jeremy, Justin and Charlie.
She fought her disease courageously and never let it stop her from living her life to the fullest with a smile and a laughter that was contagious and easily shared. Avery was generous, talented and loved her friends and family but most of all her faith in Jesus Christ and a love for the Catholic Church, often reminding us not to cry because God had a plan.
Our family is eternally grateful for all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time that was poured out upon us. We've shared so many hugs, meals, stories, prayers, tears and laughter during our journey from so many people who knew and loved Avery and our family. We would especially like to thank Dr. Jerry Fain and the nurses at Texas Oncology Midtown, Dr. Robert Benjamin at MD Anderson/Sarcoma Center and the beautiful group of people at Hospice Austin/Christopher House.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Hospice Austin/Christopher House, 4107 Spicewood Springs Rd., Ste. 100, Austin, Texas 78759 or to Mobile Loaves and Fishes at the following link https://www.donate.mlf.org.

Children are a blessing from God, and should be treated as one of God's greatest gifts and treasures to the world. They show us what the Kingdom of Heaven is like, and they teach us about faith, honesty, trust, and creativity.
