Arturo Garcia passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side in Houston, Texas on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 at the age of 78. He was born to parents Juan Garcia Jr. and Aurora Ramirez on August 20,1946 in Big Spring, Texas and was raised and grew up in Austin, Texas. Arturo was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and worked for many years in banking before operating the family business.
Arturo was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His devotion to family and friends was apparent in everything he did. His capacity for love touched everyone fortunate enough to be in his life. In his later years his compassionate and giving nature blossomed when he volunteered for his local community in Houston.
He is survived by his daughter Nicole Garcia, grandson Christian, his wife Gina Zesati, stepchildren Luis Carlos, Adrian, Gabriel, & Marcela, and siblings Ruben, Ella, Juan III., Linda, & Debbie, as well as many other close relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Alice C.Garcia, his son, Arturo Garcia Jr. and his parents.
