Antonio Tony Reyna, Jr., 54, peacefully completed this life on March 18, 2006. After a brave battle with cancer, he faced his final life challenge with the same style and charm that all of us who loved him knew so well. Born and raised in Austin, he was deeply loved and admired by his personal and professional families. After graduating from Travis High School, he soon began his life long career as a hair designer, owning his own shop Genesis Hair Designers in South Austin. Following the examples of his parents, Tony had a very strong work ethic and cherished the friends he made. Tony said his parents, Antonio and Concepcion Reyna, had taught him that the most important thing in life was family. This was always evident in the way he dropped whatever he was doing to help a family member in need, and held endless family gatherings at his home to enjoy their company, even at the end. Tony had many loves in his life and he cherished his three daughters and granddaughter. He met the final love of his life, Deborah, in February 1985 and they were together ever since. Together they enjoyed the finest things in life, traveling, entertaining friends and family, boating, running, playing his bass guitar with his jam buddies, camping, landscaping his home on Lake Travis, and his dogs. He is survived by his beloved wife Deborah Wiggins Reyna, his three beautiful daughters, Melissa Reyna, Kelli DAgostino, and Amber Reyna; one granddaughter, Mia Reyna, and one unborn grandchild; parents, Antonio and Concepcion Reyna; brother, Fernando Reyna and wife Jana; sisters, Carey Davis and husband Ken, Christina Reyna, Julie Nyren and husband Pete, Mary Marie Nielson and husband Jamie; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family wishes to thank all of you who loved him and made his life so grand. To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. Thank you for your smile Tony. Keep Smiling. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a family fund at Wells Fargo Bank. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 21 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
