A Navy Wave serving 3 years at the Pentagon and 1 year in San Diego, where she met her husband Marine Sgt, Tony “Pops” Lupercio Jr. They shared 40 wonderful years together before he preceded her in death.
Antonia was a true inspiration of strength, selflessness and generosity. She will be missed by many. The family wishes to express a special thanks to all that have filled Antonia’s life with so much happiness throughout the years, especially those that so graciously gave back to her in ways of support and care taking during her battle with cancer. She was blessed to have compassionate in-home health care and Hospice Austin services.
Antonia was called home by our Heavenly Father on July 11, 2013, surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her children Mark, Rachel, David, and Vincent Lupercio; Grandchildren, Monique, Jackie, Philip, Olivia Danielle, Matthew, Elena, and David; Great Grandchildren Isaiah, Cerese, and Olivia Marie.
Friends and family are invited to attend Antonia’s visitation from six o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening on Monday July 15, 2013, with a rosary to follow at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas 78752.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted Tuesday July 16, 2013 at ten o’clock in the morning in St. Louis Catholic Church, 7601 Burnet Rd., Austin, Texas 78757. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery, 14501 North Ih-35, Austin, 78660.
