Anthony Wayne Washington, Jr., was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on November 17, 1982, to proud parents, Anthony W. Washington, Sr., and Chamange W. Speaks. At the age of five, Anthony moved to Texas to live with his mom and dad, Aaron Speaks, who raised Anthony until his adult years. Anthony was truly loved by his grandparents, John and Margaret Speaks, and his family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Anthony received his formal education from West Wood High School in Round Rock, Texas, where he also played football, wearing the proud number “37 Washington.”
At the age of thirteen, Anthony accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the Saint Paul Baptist Church in China, Texas. After relocating back to Round Rock, Texas, Anthony always had love for the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church family where he received spiritual foundation.
Anthony always had a kind heart for others, had been a hard worker, and had the sweetest smile that you will always remember. He was loved by many.
On Friday, August 23, 2019, Anthony was called home. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Y.T. and Laura Wilkerson, and D.W. and Ella Washington; and his two aunts, Yvonne and Gwendolyn Wilkerson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Aaron and Chamange Speaks and Anthony W. Washington, Sr.; sister, Ciara Speaks, and brother, Aaron Speaks, Jr., of Austin, Texas; sister, Mikaela, and brothers, Antanavious and Ashton, of Alabama; his beloved aunts, Elizabeth, Willie Ella, Sheree, and Dana, and uncles, Lester, Don, Andre, and Carmel, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; aunt, Andrea, and uncle, Doug, of Silver Spring, Maryland; uncle, Billy, and aunt, Liz, of Atlanta, Georgia; aunts, Pamela and Ester, and uncle, Ernest, of Alabama; and a host of cousins.
