ANNA BELLE FISCHER SMITH BAYLOR Anna Belle Fischer Smith Baylor died on July 9, 2003. Born January 12, 1912, in Austin to Alex and Annie Fischer, she was a longtime resident of Austin. A graduate of Austin High School, she attended the University of Texas. She was employed by the Austin Independent School District before her retirement, and was a member of the Austin Womans Club, University Area Ki-Anns, Texas Retired Teachers Association, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, University United Methodist Church, Couples Plus Sunday School, and the Monday Methodist Circle. She spent many happy hours of her last years playing in several bridge groups with many friends. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Annette and Henry Lucksinger of Killeen, and Patsy and Fred Davis of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Laurie Lucksinger Parkhill and husband Kelly and Henry Clay Lucksinger and wife Carol Jean; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 27 years, Haston C. Smith; her second husband Togie Baylor; and grandson, Scott Davis. Mrs. Baylor will lie in state after 12:00 PM on Sunday through Monday at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at Harris Memorial Chapel, University United Methodist Church, 24th & Guadalupe, on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at 2:00 PM.
