Ann Claussen

Ann Claussen passed away February 19, 2015 at the age of 74, in Buda, Texas surrounded by her family and love ones. She was born on July 28, 1940 in Austin, Texas to Eliza Imogene Carter and Gurney Homer Grumbles.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert “Bob” Claussen. She is survived by her three children, Debi Barbre, Robert “Bobby” Claussen Jr., Lisa Worry and grandson Kevin Brosch. Ann is also survived by her sisters; Harriette (Sis) Law, Dorothy Skieff and brother Walter Sites.

Ann was first and foremost the heart and inspiration of the Claussen family and was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother to her beloved grandson.

Ann was a kind and gentle soul who put others needs in front of her own. She dearly loved spending time with her family, enjoyed bowling and loved life.

Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed. She was a beautiful Gem and a precious gift from God.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2015 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2015, in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cook- Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
