Angelyn Lovena Ashworth

She was born October 15, 1947 in Lampasas, Texas to Leola Lois Mendenhall (Wagoner) and Ruben Lee Harrod, both of which preceded her in death.

Angelyn was a godly and loving wife, mother, sister, family member and friend. Her passions were her love for Jesus and her family who she adored. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, crocheting, knitting, playing cards and dominoes and spending time with her family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Carl Ashworth Jr.; her brother Ronald L. Harrod and sister Teresa L. Ruhl.

She is survived by her sons; Carl V. Ashworth and Trenton D. Ashworth and wife, Stacie; daughter, Devonne E. Koepp and husband, Jerry; by her brothers, Barney L. Harrod and wife, Kathy, and Michael L. Harrod; sister, Linda C. Ferguson; by her grandchildren, Katie L. Johnson and husband, Caleb, Jeremiah I. Ashworth and wife, Isabelle, Elizabeth A. Ashworth, Zachary A. Koepp, and Alyssa G. Engstrand and husband, Mark; her great grandchildren Wyatt K. Johnson, Rhett D. Johnson, and Lexi R. Engstrand.

We are thankful to have had her in our lives.

A visitation for Angelyn will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 12:00 PM with the funeral service starting at 1:00 PM then a graveside there after. All services will take place at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park 6300 W William Cannon Dr Austin Tx 78749
