Alyssa Lynn Thorp passed away on February 18, 2021 in Austin, TX at the age of 22. She was born on August 24, 1998 in Austin, Texas. She was her dad’s little boo bear and her mom’s little butterfly.
Alyssa loved spending time with her nana shopping and spa days. She loved history and spent hours with her pawpaw watching the history channel. Alyssa loved writing poems, drawing and playing video games.
Alyssa spent a lot of her days with her long-time boyfriend of 5 ½ years, Andrew Kyser, who she loved dearly. She adored her dog Phin who was always by her side everywhere she went. Alyssa’s best friend was her cousin Kane Bond. They would hang out for days at a time just talking and chilling.
Alyssa will be truly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents Jason Thorp and Chasity Neugent; her nana Pamela Thorp; grandma Debbie Neugent; great grandma Mary Ann Jester; uncle Pascal Thorp; aunt Shasta Barnes; sister Cheyanne Johnson and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 PM with a funeral service at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks, 6300 W William Cannon Dr., in Austin.
