So sorry to hear of Al’s passing. He left such a beautiful impression on me working with him. He was always willing to help with kindness. I worked with AL at the main Austin plant when I was in customer service.  Prayers for his dear family.

I had the great pleasure of working with Al at Lake Travis USPS. Al kept all of us in line. Al loved talking about his family. Al and I both graduated from St. Edward’s University and we both have daughters named Lauren. His face would light up when he spoke about his family. I would text him here and there after he retired and more recently. Even in his texts, he was always light hearted. Dear Al, rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Al grew up next door to us. He played with our children often in the yard. He became good friends with our oldest son, Darrell. I remember Al working at the Post Office. His Dad and Sister worked there also. From what I remember about Al, at the Post Office, he was a very good employee---always on time and did his job with pride. May he rest in peace.

Al Garcia, kind human being, sly - wicked sense of humor, definition of friend , at peace now.

I am really going to miss you  Cuz . You know we reconnected as adults after being the best cousins during our childhood and early teens. Some of my fondest memories were those days we spent playing baseball and basketball and goofing off every time we made the trip from SA to Austin. Great times and great memories. 
I will always wish that I could have done more for you . I know we stayed in touch during your illness but I wish we would have  been able to spend more time just hanging out. I was always hopeful I could pick you up a bit. 
 Cuz you fought the good fight and I know that you did it for your family as much as for yourself. I know that you will now find comfort and peace in His loving arms and I will try to find comfort in that.  I pledge that I will always be there to support Erma, Lauren , your mom and Norma should they need anything. 
You’ll have to wait on me so we can play that round of golf again that we’d been hoping for, so save me a spot on the tee box. 
Hug your Dad and my Dad for me as they were as close as you and I.  
I’ll miss you dearly and remember you fondly.

I shared many years with Al and Norma while working at the Post Office. He was a good guy.  I pray for his family during this difficult time. Rest in heaven Al.

My sincerest condolences to the Garcia family.  Al was a great man.  I used to work with Al at Balcones Station and I remember that he was a great co-worker.  He was always professional, nice, and  always polite.  The last I saw him, he was working at the Plants Facility before he retired and informed me that he was retiring.  I shook his hand and told him that it has been a pleasure working with him and to have a very happy retirement.   
You never forget about the good ones.
