Alan was a happy, fun-loving guy. His wit and charm could make anyone laugh. After a stint working as a handyman for a hotel, he created his own business as Handyman Ram.
With his mother, Irma, he shared his greatest love for his daughter, Ava. He spent many hours playing with her, going for walks, and discovering and collecting treasures like roly-poly’s. How else to explain a macho young man with painted fingernails and toenails. With his stepfather, Jerry, he shared an 18-year love of the World of Warcraft and the absolute pleasure of picking on his younger sister, Eli. Yet even though he loved to pick on her, he did his best to serve as her protector as an older brother, and they somehow always ended up with matching clothes.
Alan followed in his father’s footsteps with a love of music. He learned to play the bass, and with his father’s help, and built his very own banjo. He created detailed works of art and shared a passion for drawing with his sisters Roxanne and Miranda.
He is survived by his 3-year-old daughter Ava Ramirez; his mother Irma Mendoza and stepfather Jerry Daniels; his father Alan Ramirez Sr and stepmother Tammy Ramirez; his sister Eli Ramirez, his half-sisters, Roxanne Woods and Miranda Watts, his stepsisters Amanda and Cassie Daniels, and stepbrother Chris Daniels; his grandmother Dora Mendoza; nephews and niece Beau, Whitt, Colt, Sebastian, and Britten; and a great number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
