Mrs. Olwen Mary Morgan

Born February 7, 1924 in Brecon, Wales, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in her 91st year at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario, with all her children by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Charles Morgan (2000). Treasured mother of John (Anna), Jane (Ino Scribani), David (Barbara) and Ruth (John Houston). Cherished grandmother of 7: Morgan Houston (Kirk MacDiarmid), Stefano Scribani, Jaime (Nicholas Tremblett), Thomas Morgan, Alessandro Scribani, Michael Morgan and Katherine Morgan. Proud great-grandmother to Ethan Tremblett. Sister of the late Gareth Lewis and sister-in-law of the late Joan Charles. She will be remembered by family in Wales and England.

Olwen led a very busy social life in Aurora and Newmarket and will be missed by all those who knew her.

Friends may call on Wednesday January 7, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (at Yonge St) from 12 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Olwen’s Life beginning at 1 p.m.

All her friends are invited to attend and share stories of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Parkinson Society or a charity of your choice.
