Lisa had a remarkable zest for life, and lived determinedly with cancer over the last several years. She was selfless, caring and an amazing mom. She loved to talk to her kids about their dreams and plans and she loved the memories they made on their family trips together.
Whether she was staying connected with long-time friends, or family, or building new friendships, Lisa was had an incredible ability to connect deeply with the most amazing people. Lisa’s favourite thing in the world was when good things happened to her friends and family. Nothing made her happier.
Lisa did not like to sit still; she loved to be active, and to learn new things, whether swimming, golfing, skiing, biking, or running, particularly if she was with Bruce, or with her friends, and particularly if a social event was tacked on, so she could talk and laugh with the people she loved.
Lisa loved her family and friends, and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Her kindness and warm heart will be remembered forever. Things were always clear to Lisa. Care deeply and love.
Lisa's family would like to thank her entire medical team at Princess Margaret Hospital and the Southlake Regional Health Centre, for their care and compassion.
A service in Lisa's memory will take place at a later date with details to follow.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ThompsonFH-Aurora.com for the Johnson family.
