I was saddened to hear that you have gone with the Angels far too soon.  We haven't seen each other for a long time however I have many memories of our childhood.  Our families had lots of fun together, visiting and us kids watching The Wizard of Oz for many years.  It is funny how some things stay in your memory.

My Beautiful Sister Linda,

I have been to this memorial page everyday for the past five days trying to write something about you, but I just can't believe you've been taken away from us so soon.
You fought your toughest fight Lin, and we are so proud of you for your courage and strength.  

My heart is broken and I've shed so many tears.
My fondest memories I have of you still play in my mind over and over. I miss you Lin, I miss our Friday morning Bingo sessions, our sisters nights, your wittiness and thoughtfulness.

Remember the time we went to "New Year's Eve" bingo and we each brought a water bottle full of Rum (for me) Rye (for you) LOL
We thought if we got caught, they would take our picture and ban us from the Bingo hall forever (Oh no!)  Murray and Larry we're there and I won $2,500, so of course we split the winnings.

You were an awesome big sister, friend, work colleague: Crown Life,  Canadian Real Estate, Wellington Guarantee (where you retired from) and FCT.
You were an amazing wife to Larry (I know sometimes he tried to take over your kitchen LOL)
A fantastic mother to Julie, Kelly and Kendal and a grandmother like no other.

You are missed everyday Linda.
One day we will all meet and start this crazy life over. "TOGETHER AGAIN".

I just can’t believe your gone!  Gone way to soon!  I miss you so much already.  

As your baby sister, I remember always looking up to you, watching you and admiring your courage, strength and unconditional love.   You are my big sister protector and I know you always watched out for me.   Now you have to watch “over” me.   You are such a classy lady Lin!  I love your style and I always said to myself. I want to be just like you when I grow up....

You married a great guy in Larry and gave me three beautiful nieces.  Julie, Kelly & Kendal.     Don’t worry, we got you!  Your loving sisters will take care of them and make sure they continue to have family gatherings and traditions.   I promise to always be there for them and your beautiful grandkids too ok!   🙏

We will continue to have our monthly sisters nights and when it’s your night, we will have “blueberry margaritas” for you!  Remember Lin, you will never be forgotten because you’re always in our hearts. ❤️

I am deeply saddened by this horrific loss. I have so many beautiful memories of Linda. Too many.   She was something I can’t even describe. But I will try. She was strong, kind, fun, beautiful, protective, amazing. 

She created this beautiful family, enjoyed every second of each and every one of her loved ones. Made everything count. A true matriarch of a legacy that will never be forgotten.  

Linda, you helped me so much in my life. I will never forget what you and Larry mean to me.

My dearest sister Linda.   Sister by chance, friend by choice.  Taken from us too soon.
You have been the best sister anyone could ever ask for.  And you have been the best friend too.
We did so much together, just having a great time.  We played cards, played golf (well tried to lol) we went to bingo, the gym, we joined WW, travelled all over together, and of course, my drinking buddy. You and your fancy drinks.
You have been one of the nicest, most thoughtful people I know. I loved your sense of humor.  You always made me laugh.  Family was always so important to you with Larry, the kids and your 6 grandchildren. We also enjoyed many, many girls weekends away with our sisters, aunts and cousins. So many great memories which we’ll talk about for years to come. You know it! lol
During your battle with cancer you always had a positive attitude, so strong and brave. It just became so overwhelming.  I take comfort that you are now at peace.
We are going to continue our sister’s nights and come visit you whenever it’s your turn.  I know you are with Mom now probably enjoying a fancy drink.
 I already miss our morning coffee and chats.  You’ll always be in my heart. I love you dearly.

The best kind of friends are the ones who can always pick up where they left off, as if months hadn't gone by. Communication may have been scarce for the last few years, but we sure never stopped caring for each other. A childhood friendship that blossoms  into a lifelong friendship is something so precious and scarce. To a Wonderful Friend From the Past,

Although we had lost touch many years ago, I have always remembered the good times we had as work colleagues and also friends at Crown Life.  I can only wish that we had reconnected and we may have but life got in the way.  I know I let you down and I was and am sorry.  You were a beautiful person and I am so sorry that you have had to leave all your friends and family now.  I, too, lost my beloved husband, Bob  of 36 years three years ago of the same Cancer.  Maybe you two can say hello in Heaven.
May God Bless your family and keep them strong in sharing all their wonderful memories of you.  So sad to hear of your passsing.

What a kind and loving person, always ready for a laugh and a good time. Many great times playing Euchre on Thursdays and couples cards with Larry on Saturdays. My most precious memories are on the golf course, Linda being a member of the Divot Divas, not the best foursome but the most honest  (we've been told!)  Joe and I want to send our deepest sympathy to Larry, their girls and their grandchildren.  Our thoughts are with Cindy and her sisters as they are such a tight group and Linda's passing will leave a big void. Such a loss, she will be deeply missed!

Dave and I are so very sorry for your loss of Linda.  She was a genuine lovely person and her friendship meant alot to us both. Dear Linda,

So many wonderful memories of days gone by.

Going back to our work days at the Hartford Insurance, to the Barbra Streisand movies, to our social outings, to the festive get-togethers with your parents/sisters/extended family, to your wedding, to your first daughter Julie, to our trip to Florida and so on.

You  have been a good friend, volunteered welcomed advice, pointed me in the right direction when it was needed, had my best interest at heart and then some.

We stayed in touch over the years, either through a telephone call, a greeting card or otherwise.  Now I will have to console myself by forever keeping you in my heart and in my thoughts.

I wish we could have spent more time with one another.  I wish we could at least have seen each other and hugged one last time.  

I will surely miss you Linda.  Rest in Peace my dear friend until we meet again.

My most heartfelt condolences to Linda’s family.  She was such a lovely, kind and warm person. She’ll be deeply missed by all those she touched.

Dear Grandma, 
I will never forget my first week of grade 9 when I had came to your house and laid my eyes on your long blue sweatshirt, you said I could borrow it but I never ended it up giving it back because I liked it too much, you and I would have never guessed I would love your clothes, lol. I will always remember how I would sleep over at your house some nights for school and I’d have to put on your baggy pjs that I always had to roll up 3 times because they would always fall down on me, in the mornings you would lightly knock on the door and each time you would say “honey, come on, time to get up, do you want a tea?” I would be so tired but I loved to have tea with you before I had to go off and get ready for school. You always knew how to make me laugh when you’d offer me a grilled cheese, or anything with ketchup and pronounce it “Catch-up” instead of ketchup, there I would go off saying “Ketchup grandma, ketchup not catch-up”. I’ve had many amazing memories with you, but the memory I will always keep with me is how much of an inspiring and lovely woman you were, how you would make everything better for me and always make me smile, you were such a wonderful person to be around, no one could compare, you were my best friend and always will be, I love you forever and always, you will be my daily thought.

My dearest mom, although you were taken too soon from us, I am forever grateful for the time we had together. We had a strong finish together with good quality time and great memories. Thank you for everything you have done for us. Thank you for all you’ve done for the kids - all the dance recitals you came to, all the appointments you drove to, all the times you picked the kids up from school when they were sick or had an assembly, for all the times you drove the girls to high school and pick them up and worried about whether they had bus money or snacks, for all the lovely little gifts you would send on every holiday - Valentines Easter. You never missed a holiday or a celebration moment. You were there for the good times and the bad and I don’t know how I will ever find my new normal without you. The one thing I do know is that you taught me strength and you taught me that  family means the most and that is what I will look to to get through this journey ahead.  You taught me to be a hard worker, to be responsible, good etiquette, respect, love and patience and to think before I say things.  I will continue to do all of these things for you and “ be a good girl.” I love you forever mom. Please give a kiss to grandma and Nanny, and to all the other angels you are surrounded by now.  I will love you forever and hope to see you again some day. 

Kendal, Mike, James and Joey, our deepest condolences on the passing of your mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Even though we only saw each other a few times at  family functions, we found her to be a very caring and happy woman.  Her many wonderful qualities were passed on to her children.
