Almost 3 years later and I still think about my sweet kurt every day. see you in the trees, flowers, the nice breeze.. my krt. forever longing for the day i can see you once more.

I miss you so much buddy, I grew a sunflower for you in my backyard, dried the petals in the fall and made it into a sunflower for you. I think about you often, and I’m so happy to have had a friend like you Kurt. I wish I could talk to you again. I’ll see you up there someday lovely.

This is long overdue but thank you so much for having me over to hangout with Kurt countless of times when we were kids.  Your generosity of just letting us kids be kids and never complaining about the noise or ruckus we have caused (especially past midnight)...you rock!  Kurt's friends and I owe you a huge debt of gratitude for all you have done for us.  I'm so sorry for your lost.


Whenever Kurt and I would catch up via video calls he would always ask me about two things; my life and my family, it was always more about me than him and he made sure it was that way right until the very end. So rare to find a cool dude who actually cared more about what others had to say over what he had to say. He was always genuine and he never puts himself in the centre of attention -something that you can't say about most people. But Kurt wasn't like most people, he taught me drums, games, bike tricks, trampoline tricks. He was kind, calm cool and collected, I miss him so much and all the things we used to do.

It's really sad to see him go so soon, it's sad that he will no longer out-of-the-blue message me funny stories or inside jokes that happened 10+ years ago. The key witness to my childhood just passed away. It's tough to see my friend go Norm and I can't imagine the pain you're going through. Thank you for raising my best friend Kurt Thomas and thank you Kurt for the memories, lost or remembered i guess it doesn't really matter, all that mattered is that we had laughs, and lots of it!

First and foremost.. i love you kurt and your whole family. You were genuinely one of the kindest souls I ever met. You got along with everyone. Even when they came barging in while you were napping ahaha. Most if not all  of the amazing memories ill take awhile from my high school and later years involve you. You were truly one of a kind. I love you man. Ill miss ya forever 

I am so heartbroken to hear the news of your passing, Kurt. I am lost for words.  I wish I could go back in time and hear your voice again, calling me buddy or lovely. You were one of my best friends in high school. Your home felt like a second home to me, a place where so many of our friends would come chill and escape the world for a few hours. You were the greatest, most kind hearted and genuine friend to everyone you met. There was never a time I wasn’t laughing or smiling when you were around me. You don’t know how much it meant when you reached out to me a couple months ago on Instagram when I was really sad. I wish I stayed in touch with you more.  I will always cherish every single memory I have with you, Kurt. You were taken from us way too soon. Rest peacefully, lovely ❤️

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Kurt was undoubtedly a good person. He had a heart of gold. I have very fond memories of playing Mario Party 4 with him or just hanging out. My deepest sympathy to you all. I hope that he is smiling down on us from heaven now with his cat Taco.
