Ker, not sure where to start. 
You were one of a kind! A piece of my heart went with you. The years of working together bonded us in a way we can never explain to others. Bunking together in some crazy places, staying up late giggling and chatting like little school girls. The way we could finish one another's sentences and know what each other was thinking. It made us a force to be reckoned with! The support we gave each other will never be matched by anyone. You were a dear friend and  very special to me. I will miss you every single day.
You leave behind many who will forever miss your smile, laughter and love. Hailey, Betty, Gord and all who loved Kerrie, sending my love and my heart felt condolences to you all. 

We were very shocked and sad to hear that Kerrie had left us so suddenly. She was a longtime neighbor and friend. We shared many long conversations and laughs together.  After we moved last year, we were looking forward to her visiting us during one of her trips to Nova Scotia. 
Our condolences go out to Hailey, Betty and Gord during this very sad and difficult time. Ron and I wish we were closer so we could give you all a big hug!


We are deeply saddened to hear the passing of this wonderful lady and Angel. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day….unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved still missed, and very dear.” Sincere condolences.

Kerrie had touched a lot of hearts.   You always knew when she was in the room.   She filled it with so much positivity.   She will deeply be missed but never forgotten.

You were the most loving , caring & selfless  person I’ve know. I will forever cherish every single memory we have had throughout the years since I was a little girl. The Sambuca ice cold shots while we were at the trailer fire pit late at night, me and Hailey decorating your trailer on your birthday with toilet paper because we didn’t have anything else , your phone calls with my mom asking when is she going to the trailer and her bringing your favourite dessert which are Portuguese custards. I will forever be here for your daughter Hailey whenever she needs a shoulder to cry on or even some life advice. 

You will forever be missed

The world has lost a most wonderful person.I have known Kerrie for many years going back to the days when we bumped into each other at the odd night club in Scarborough.
For the past 21 years she became one of my closest friends while we both worked at IRP.Her effort and passion she put into her job will never be duplicated.
We spoke many times and the conversation would eventually turn to how proud she was of her daughter Hailey going to University, Or how she would be lost without the help of her mom Betty over the years.
Of course her weekends spent at the trailer with her beloved  Gord were always something she looked forward to in the summer.

Hailey,Betty and Gord and family my heart goes out to you all.Hold onto those fond memories of such a fine person.

I have known Kerrie for 16 years, and she was always happy or cheerful no matter how hard things got. As good as she was at her job that she was so dedicated to, she was even better as a friend.  Kerrie knew how to separate work time from social time, and during all our after hours lunches, the main conversation would always be our families and friends, and from these chats you could see she was even more dedicated to her family and her daughter.

Kerrie will be missed by many. Condolences to her family and to the IRP staff.
