Mrs. Kathleen Ann O'Doherty

On January 31, 2015, our hearts were broken as we lost our beloved wife, mother, ‘nana’, aunt, sister-in-law and dearest friend to all, at Southlake Regional Hospital, Newmarket, Ontario.

Kathleen Ann O’Doherty, the heart and light of our family, you will be fiercely missed by your husband John, children Sharon (spouse Jim DiLeo), Paul (spouse Heather O’Doherty), Lynda (spouse Peter Nudo) and Stephen (spouse Jennifer O’Doherty), and your beautiful grandchildren Nathan, Olivia, Briar, Hannah, Brayden, Meaghan, Kaylin and Ella-Rose, Jim Jr. (spouse Melissa DiLeo) and great-grandchildren Olivia, Izzy and Aubrey-Jean.

You dedicated your life to your family, always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her”. Your laughter and smile will remain in our hearts for eternity. We take peace knowing you are reunited with the loved ones that went before you.

In honour of our Mom’s love of reading we ask that in lieu of flowers, that a donation can be made to the “Indigo Love of Reading Foundation”. Mom always had a book she was reading and she shared this passion for books with her family, most especially her grandchildren.
