Our deepest condolences to the entire family on the passing of such a wonderful friend and neighbour. Kathy was always fun to chat with. We always enjoyed the patio/garden conversations with her in the spring and summer.  We will truly miss her...

I've known Kathe from the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank, where she had volunteered for DOUBLE the number of years that I have!
She was always pleasant and cheerful, even when her leg was bothering her, and always quietly "doing bread or sweets" in her corner of the food bank. In fact, some of the warehouse volunteers call that area "Kathe's Corner" - she was such a fixture at the food bank.
She seldom, if ever, got flustered or upset if there were long lines of clients or some volunteers (like me!), were anxious or trying to hurry. Kathe just kept going and doing the tasks that needed to be done, and was always very accommodating and helpful to everyone.
She will be sadly missed by everyone at our food bank.

Kathe, no day goes by without you being dearly missed. You were an exception quality person - loving, kind, generous, thoughtful, understanding - they don’t make like you anymore!!! I’ll cherish  the fun times and laughs we shared and will keep you in a special place in my heart for as long as it beats. Love you. Miss you. Rest in peace my dear friend; we’ll be there for your boys  <3

Kathe was a great friend to me at the dog park.  My favourite memory of Kathe, was when we were trying to get a ball away from Gilmore. She had grabbed Gilmore by his back legs as I tried to pry the ball away. We were both in hysterics as she called him a little bugger. I will always miss her smile.

Kathy was a model human being.  I remember her waves "hello" from the Suzuki Sidekick, her athleticism, and the way she always loved and supported Carson in all he did.  The best example of her wit and humour was the way she would harmlessly tease Carson and Dave in the midst of an intense moment, usually sports related.  She always had a welcoming home and was extremely hospitable - I never felt like a guest.  To top it all off, after decades of knowing the wonderful and selfless Kathy, I learned just last year that she has spent the last several years volunteering a few times per week at the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank.  Nothing to not love about this terrific woman.  We will miss Kathy and will endlessly love and support Carson and Dave.

We have known kathe for the past twelve years, and I dare to say that she was such a wonderful neighbor and encouraging friend. Her selfless actions and her dedication to the community have left a positive impact on us and our neighborhood. Her spirit will always be remembered. May her legacy of kindness continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
And to Dave and Carson, I hope that you find strength and solace in the love and support of those around you. Please take care of yourselves during this trying time, and know that you are not alone. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your extended family.

Kathy, I still can’t believe you’re gone.  The world is a bit emptier without your wit, humour and incredible kindness.  The way you always steered your focus towards the lighter side of things no matter what always left me in awe!  I am blessed to have known you and honoured to have called you friend.  Fly high my beautiful sister, you will be so missed.  My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Davey, Carson and extended family.

Kathy was the nicest, sweetest, kindest, and compassionate human being that I knew. She had a quick wit and great sense of humour. She always went with the flow. You couldn't ask for a better friend who cared and listened to you. I will never forget the support she and Dave gave me over the years of attending the annual Thalassemia Foundation of Canada Valentines Dance. I could never get her up to dance as she would say she had two left feet. I would always look down and say "no you don't" and we would laugh! Dave and Carson my heart is saddened of your great loss. You two were the world to her (and Gilmour too!) During this time of loss, I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in the cherished moments you shared together and may her memory bring you peace.  Kathy we will miss you dearly and promise you that your memory will always be remembered in our circle of friends. We will always have a pinot noir for you! Sleep tight angel!
