Mrs. Karen Lynne Cole Kerr

May 21st 1956 – May 26th 2015

On Tuesday May 26, 2015 our kind and loving Wife, Mom and Grandma peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario at the age of 59. Karen was strong and courageous throughout her four year struggle with cancer. She always had a smile on her face. Beloved and dear Wife of Gordon, proud Mom of Trevor (Hallie), Tracy and Shelby. Adoring Grandma of her “best boy” Max. Daughter of Jim and Marguerite Cole, older sister to Barbara (Danny) and Valerie (Skip). Sister-in-law of Jane (Marv), a favourite Aunt to many nieces, nephew and their families. Karen will also be missed by her fur babies Mikey, Joey and Lily. She was a caring and loyal friend to many and is thankful for their love and support.

Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora), Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 1:00pm until time of the Celebration of Life Service which will be held in the Chapel at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre through the Southlake Foundation (905-836-7333 or www.southlakefoundation.ca) in Newmarket.
