Jean Ann (Forsyth) Osborne Born: June 19, 1933 (Elgin Mills, Ontario). Passed away peacefully on Thursday December 12, 2024 (Aurora, Ontario). Jean was a longtime resident in Aurora for 37 years and previously lived in Willowdale, Ontario, for 40 years, where she married Alex and they raised their four children. A member of the Aurora Legion and the Aurora Seniors Centre. She loved playing cards and doing crafty things. She was very creative. She loved music and singing. She is predeceased by her (husband) Alexander Gordon Osborne and her (granddaughter) Heather Leinda Osborne (daughter of eldest son Gordon (Ana)). Other predeceased relatives are; (brother) John ‘Jack’ Forsyth and (sister) Violet (Forsyth) Street.
Leaves behind her (sister) Sandra (Mark) Bramham and her (sister-in-law) Ann (Osborne) Murray.
She also leaves her (4) children; (daughter) Nancy (Barney) Barbeau; Gordon (Ana) Osborne, Brett (Wendi) Osborne and Mark (Aviva) Osborne
Grandchildren Lee Ann (Rory) Scott, Shaun (Jennifer) Barbeau, Mindy Barbeau and Trish Barbeau, Erin (James) Wilson, Kimberly Osborne, Ian Osborne, Robyn Osborne, Alex (Katie) Osborne, Norina, Rebecca and Veronica Osborne
Great Grandchild Alana, Kayla, Isobel and Matthew Scott, Kate and Calie Barbeau, Colin and Chloe Wilson, and Abel Greenspoon.
Jean has been cremated through Thompson Funeral Home, Aurora and the family will celebrate her life in the Spring 2025.
No flowers or donations, but the hope that everyone will support Dementia research in the future so that someday, there will be an end to this disease.
Jean will be remembered and missed by many people. ”Love ya!”, “Ditto, ditto, ditto” and “Beep-Beep” were her favourite sayings. Many thanks to the medical staff and PSW’s at Aurora Age Care facility (previously known as Resthaven) in Aurora, where Mom completed her journey.
