Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2014, with family by her side at Mackenzie Health Centre in Richmond Hill in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Hugh McIntyre, Loving Mother of Judy (Paul Smith) and the late Roy (Sandra McIntyre) Cherished Grandmother to Brent, Stephen and Kim. Great- grandmother to Ellie, Olivia, Jessica and John Jr. Great- great grandmother to Rory. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff on Mill 2 at Aurora Resthaven and the medical staff on 4 South at Mackenzie Health Centre for their kind and compassionate care. Memorial visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421 on Thursday March 27, 2014 from 6pm – 8 pm. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of funeral home. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society
