Elliot Mark Potts was born on Monday August 16, 2021 at Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket and passed away peacefully in his parents’ arms on Monday August 23, 2021 at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. He spent his seven short days surrounded by love and prayer. Elliot was baptized on Monday August 23, 2021 and has gone home to heaven.
Elliot was adored by his parents Mark and Megan Potts, and his big brother Owen. His arrival was celebrated by his loving grandparents Rick and Mary Pollock and Jeffery and Susan Potts. Elliot was loved by his Uncle Ryan, Uncle Philip and Auntie Melissa. His cousins Amelia, Hudson and Ruby were excited to make memories with him.
Elliot was loved and prayed for by his many great aunts and uncles. Elliot had many extended cousins, relatives and friends who were excited to meet him and he was in their thoughts and prayers.
Elliot was a brave helper taken far too soon in his life of seven days, enduring many tests and procedures while under the compassionate care of the entire team at Sick Kids Hospital NICU.
Visitation will be held Monday August 30, 2021 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora).
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday August 31, 2021 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (15347 Yonge St, Aurora). Private interment to follow at Aurora Cemetery (14253 Yonge St, Aurora)
