Dorothy "Dot" Mary Lee passed away peacefully on Monday August 12th, 2024 with her family by her side.
Loving mother to her daughter Lynda and her partner Bach, and to her son Stephen. Caring and loving Nana to Rachel and Shae-Lynn. Additional grandmother to Rebecca, Brahms and Oliver. Dorothy is survived by brother Tony Carr of Australia.
Dorothy left England when she was 16 and came to Canada with Bert and Agnas Lee and created a wonderful life in Aurora, Ontario which she has called home for 65 years. Dorothy worked at Sterling Drugs until it closed in September of 1990 where life long friends were made. She then moved on to a new job and continued to work until her retirement in 2001.
A celebration of life for Dorothy will be held Monday, August 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.
