Bernice Bunny Mable Coulter

Passed away July 30, 2011 in her 92nd year.

Bernice was the devoted and treasured wife of her life-long love, John Allan (Jack). They had celebrated 69 years of marriage. She was predeceased by her cherished sister Grace Hopper (1965) and parents Roy (1978) and Elsie Hill (Durie) (1975). In the hearts forever of the children that adored her, Ron and Kathleen Coulter, Alan and Karen Coulter, Nancy and Joe Stasko and Mary and Don Norman. Her award winning expertise in bridge, Chinese checkers and fishing competitions, while at the cottage, left her many grandchildren awed by her energy and enthusiasm. She will always remain in the thoughts and prayers of her grandchildren: Jennifer Coulter (Michael), Terry Coulter, Claire Coulter (Phill), Christopher, Brandon, Mackenzie, Keifer and Griffin Coulter, Sasha Stasko (Tary), Rebecca Stasko (Gian Paolo), Jody Stasko (Michael), Michael and Joey Stasko, Jeffrey and Cameron Norman, and great-grandsons Joshua, William, Jack, Oliver, Sam and Alexander.

Bunny was widely known for her spectacular gardens, her enjoyment of golf and curling, her scrumptious cooking and her never ending desire to dance, shop and party. But foremost in the hearts of her husband Jack and their friends and family, will be the memory of her perpetual smile and her sweet nurturing disposition.

Many thanks to the staff at Sunrise of Aurora for the compassionate and loving care they have provided over the last five years. A private family gathering will be held, with cremation to follow.
