Agnes Winifred Walker

Peacefully passed in her 100th year on Monday March 3, 2014 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, surrounded by family. Winnie was pre-deceased by her husbands Archie Ashworth and Dick Walker. Beloved mother of Archie Ashworth’s children, Marie (late Jack Robinson), John Ashworth (Vreni), Rupert Ashworth (Jane), Faye (late Alf Owen) and the late Cissy (Adam Carim). Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Winnie’s family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the love and care provided by all the physicians, nurses, personal support workers and staff at both Aurora Resthaven and Bendale Acres Long Term Care in Scarborough. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora on Tuesday March 11, 2014 from 1-2pm, service in the chapel from 2-3pm with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, in memory of our beloved mother, would be appreciated.
