Nathan attended and graduated from Gateway High School in 2010. Shortly after graduating, Nathan joined the Marines. He became an MP for 3 years, until he honorably discharged in 2015. In 2016 he joined the Army, where he served as an MP also for 2 years until he was honorably discharged as an disabled veteran. He attended various colleges and received many, many certificates of achievements. Nathan's greatest wish was for all who have mental health issues to be taken care of, and to create mental health awareness for others. Most of all, Nathan had a TRUE passion for spending quality time with his family.
Nathan leaves to cherish his memory his Mother, Kathleen Jo Anne Hoyle Montgomery, and Stepfather Julian Gomez Cruz; his two sisters, Sharline Montgomery and Gillian (Garth) Stevens; one brother, Anthony Montgomery; his aunts, Hollie Hoyle, Dawna Hoyle and Constance (Bill) Robinson; his uncle, James Hoyle Jr.; his aunt Paulina (Alberto) Gamez, his grandparent James Hoyle Sr. and many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
Nathan was preceded in death by his Father, Shawn Lane Montgomery; his sister, Olivia Gomez Montgomery; his grandparents, Cliff and Linda Montgomery; his grandmother Donna Pugh Hoyle. He will be forever missed.
