Ms. Marilyn L. Myers

Born January 15, 1931 Lafayette, Indiana

Entered Heaven July 28, 2013 Aurora, Colorado

She leaves behind son Craig (Dana) Myers, daughter Cathy Cooper and son Vern (Cindy) Myers. 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughter.

After attending high school in Lafayette, Indiana she worked in a variety of industries before moving to Colorado in 1962. Marilyn worked for 25 years at East Middle School in the Aurora Public School District, retiring at age 74 in 2005. Prior to working for the school system, she worked for a number of years for Doenges-Glass Ford. Throughout her working career, not only did she make a lot of friends, she also loved and touched so many hearts and lives. She will always be remembered for her warm smile, quick wit and sassy personality. She had an amazing zest for life that included camping in her earlier years and hosting family and friend get togethers during the holidays. In her final days she met death head on and fought an outstanding courageous battle all of the way until the Lord called her home.
