If you look closely you can see the Sun highlighting Jane's smiling face, her memorial placard and her wooden urn in a shaded place. We believe Jane was smiling upon us from Heaven and her Spirit was with us.  We love you, Jane......Always.

I met Jane last year when my friend and I were camping at Cherry Creek State Park in Denver. I was there a few times over a 6 month period, so I got to know her  since she was still there helping her husband after his accidents in the rv.  She was a joy to speak to, always upbeat in spite of her somewhat less than ideal circumstances. I was devastated to learn what transpired, courtesy of the current camp host at Cherry Creek. It broke my heart. I’m so sorry for the families loss. Truly.

Happy Anniversary, My Love. On this day thirty four years ago we were joined in Holy Matrimony. You were such a beautiful bride.  You filled my heart with happiness and my soul with peace.  We were together on this Earth for 33 years as husband and wife. During that time we shared so much together.  You were the best of everything in my life and now you are the best of everything in all my memories.  I miss you to no end. Whenever this life without you gets the better of me I pause and think of you.  I remember what a blessing, privilege and honor it is having had you as my Wife, Mother to our Son and my Best Friend. Jane's Tribute Tree. A Colorado Blue Spruce planted in her honor and memory at the Abilene Loop Camp Host Site in Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora, Colorado. Special thanks to our friend Arland Huff and all the others who made this tribute possible. I can see Jane smiling down from Heaven. We all miss and love her so much.

I am so sorry about Jane.  It broke my heart to hear this news. I enjoyed working with her at Georgia Power in Macon.  She was a beautiful sweet young lady.  Prayers for the family.

Robert, I am so sorry about the loss of Jane. She was such a special woman. I remember with smiles the fun we all had going out to eat and at the Moose dances. She had a great sense of humor and made every encounter enjoyable and full of laughter.  

Robbie, we never met, yet I felt I knew you through your mom. She was so deeply proud of you! There was never a time we were together that she didn't have news to share about you.

Jane Sanders was the cool mom next door. She encouraged freedom, and living boldly—as long as it was in her backyard and everyone was safe. She was witty and so expressive with her eyes. She loved her son to no end, and her husband was her absolute best friend. I was heartbroken to hear of her passing. I love Jane. She is and always will

There are no words that truly bring comfort when we lose our partner and best friend. We have only known you a short time at Axis- you have won a special place in our hearts. I am sorry that I did not get to meet Jane personally, you spoke of her often with genuine admiration and love "that you could not do it without her" and get choked up. I know that she was as beautiful on the inside and she was on the outside. "When it's dark enough you can see the stars"- is a quote that has stuck with me since my father and husband passed. There is light and love around us- embrace it. They will never leave us my friend.

Robert & Robbie, words are just not enough to express the sorrow I feel for your loss. Working with Robert for so many years, I came to know how much he loved, treasured & adored his beautiful wife, Jane.

We had the pleasure of working with Jane and Robert as campground hosts over the winter and into the summer season. We became very good friends. Jane was always warm, friendly, with a great sense of humor and a hard worker.  We always had lots of laughter, joking around with each other. A great teaser in a good way. Shared stories of our families. Jane talked about how much she loved her son Robby. Whenever we came to visit, Jane would come out to see her friend Lorraine! Jane was always excited  to see us, very welcoming, and protective .Jane was very devoted to her family,  helping Robert  through a long physical rehab. Jane will always be in our hearts! We miss you Jane!

My favorite memory of Jane is her finding my painted rocks and not knowing I had painted them, then I started painting them and hiding them for her to find. She just loved those rocks and loved finding them❤️

My heart breaks for you both!  Jane was a beautiful lady inside and out!  I loved her and spending time with her when the opportunity arose.   In our younger years we would stay up playing cards until we couldn't stay awake any longer!  Such good memories!  Please know Mike and I send our condolences and are lifting you in prayer! I was so fortunate to have   Jane  as a daughter-ln -law   for the past thirty three years, it  seems  like it was only yesterday.
Finding the faith and strength to  move forward  after  her loss

Jane loved daisies, too. Like her, the daisy is a bright and colorful flower tempered with the grace of simplicity. 
The daisy is  lovely to look at and brightens your day just like Jane.

My sister-in-law Jane and my brother Robert watching their nephews play football.  They travelled to see Brayden and Brantley play an away game.  What a fun memory.  

We lived next door to Robert and Jane in McDonough GA.  They were the best neighbors! Jane was always so nice to me and my family (and Robert as well).  It was obvious she loved her husband and son.

Our girls hung out with Jane at their pool.  She loved hearing their stories and being around them.  Tracy and Jane would have deep discussion on God, family, and life. My mother lived with us and adored Jane.  Jane visited my mother when she was sick and comforted us when she passed. 

We all moved from McDonough but still looked forward to visiting each other.  We were excited that they got the chance to experience living in the northwest as they so often talked about.

Jane and Robert are very much a part of our family.  We will miss Jane.

Jane brought smiles and God gave her rainbows and beauty.

Words cannot even begin to describe how much we all miss and love you! It hurts to know that I will not be able to hear your voice or advice anymore.  I still remember the conversation about Mom we just had a back in late July and I can’t help myself constantly looking at the texts messages we shared recently as well. Not many people know that we knew each before you met and married my big brother, Robert. I remember spending the night at your house in middle school, going to a GA Tech vs UGA  game and  making homemade rice krispy treats in the microwave. I was also so excited to later find out that you and Robert “Gene” were getting married. I thought that was the coolest thing ever, and I have always been proud to call you my sister in law. You were always there for me, Keith, Brayden and Brantley (your nephews), and we all loved you so much! From the spaghetti casserole, stuffing at Thanksgiving, chicken broccoli casserole, sausage balls, blueberry pie for Mom and Dad, and of course MY Hershey pie you made special for me, I will continue to use your recipes and cook in honor of you, & my boys’ Aunt Jane! Thank you for being you and always supporting us all, while being like a sister, cheerleader at the boys games, a friend, and their Aunt Jane,  We will cherish all the memories we made together over the years. You will always be our Angel/Aunt Jane Angel. We love you and miss you,
