Willie Mae Vann

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2pm at Cooper Cemetery in Detroit, AL.

Born in Marion County, AL, she was the daughter of the late Henry Walter Stidham and Carsie Lee Kennedy Stidham. Willie was a member of New Hope Church of God. She loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Vann was preceded in death by her husband Lewis A. Vann, one sister, and six brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Gooding and her husband Mike, Hephzibah; son, Danny Lee Vann and his wife Brenda Nelson, Augusta; stepchildren, Lewis Vann, Jr., Kenny Joe Vann, Eljean Dawkins, sister, Nettie Jean Baker, Augusta; grandchildren, Jennifer Beckon, Jonathan Gooding, Robert Lee Vann, Emily Lee Vann Dreher, Michele Vann Granning, Jason Vann, Cary Vann, Cagney Pruett, Buddy Vann, six great grandchildren, niece, Shirley Baker, and nephew, Edward Baker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 7-9pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
