Born in Kent, OH, he was the son of the late William and Mary Jane Rinehart. He moved to Augusta in 1994 from Southern California. While living in California, Bill was very active in civic organizations. He was President of the Rosamond School Board, a lifetime member of the GWTA (Gold Wing Touring Association), and President of the Postal Union. He retired after 29 years of service with the US Postal Service as a letter carrier. After his retirement he loved to work on computers. He owned Custom Made Just for You which specialized in customized t-shirts at the Barnyard Flea Market.
Bill is survived by his wife, Carrie Freeman Rinehart, sons, Ken MacDaniel, Augusta, GA; Darin MacDaniel and his wife Karen, Martinez, GA; daughter, Stacie Wood, Augusta, GA, D2( Daughter Too) Melony Carter, Martinez, GA; grandchildren, Mike MacDaniel, Kimberly MacDaniel, Rock MacDaniel, Alyssa McGovern, Tiffany McGovern, and Braden McGovern. He is also survived by his four legged kids, Goose and Ripley.
