Ms. Bragg was a native of Holly Springs, Georgia, but lived in Augusta, after graduating from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Education, for all of her adult life. She was an educator for the Richmond County School System for over 30 years. Ms. Bragg was devoted to the faith community at Fleming Baptist Church for well over 60 years, teaching Sunday school and establishing and serving in the Homebound Ministry. She had a servant’s heart and took pleasure in helping her community.
Ms. Bragg is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William A. Bragg, Sr. and her loving companion of 10 years, Huston “Robbie” Roberson. She is survived by her two sons, William A. Bragg, Jr. and his wife, Vicki, of Augusta, Alan K. Bragg and his wife, Terri, of Grovetown; six grandchildren, Leslie Ramirez (John), Kasey Crosby (Joseph), Christian Bragg (Samantha), Chad Bragg, Emily Bragg and Richard Bragg; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford B. Ragsdale (Jackie) and Joseph Ragsdale (Nancy) and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held, Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Deans Bridge Road, Augusta.
