October 2, 2010 after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 in the Lumpkin Rd. Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Finley Limehouse officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mrs. Burch retired from the Medical College of Georgia with thirty years of service as a administrative assistant.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia D. Hastings and her husband Ramon, Elizabeth Ann Hayes, and Bonnie L. Fitzgerald. One son, Hugh J. Brown Jr. and wife Sue; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and two great great- grandchildren. Two aunts, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Burch was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ouida Lord, her husband Bennie W. Burch Sr., one brother, W. Hugh Lord, a great -grand- daughter Patricia Griffin.

Pallbearers will be Hugh J. Brown III, Michael Hastings, David Hastings, Richard Hayes, Andy Fitzgerald, Cliff Darlington.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m.
