Robert Francis Welsh Jr.

Robert served in the United States Army for 23 years and was a field engineer with Kodak for over 10 years. He absolutely loved cars, drag racing and anything fast. He was a fun-loving man who had the best sense of humor, and the talent to fix anything. His pride and joy truly was his family whom he dearly loved.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce Ann Welsh; his parents Robert and Virginia Welsh; his daughters Misty Larabee and Dawn Porter and brother in law Whitey Whitehurst. He is survived by his children Rob (Tersa) Welsh, Laura Hitchox, and Shannon (William R) Evans; grandchildren Lindsey, Carie, Keifer, Ronny, Riley, William L. Evans (Nikkie), Anthony, Clay (Taylor), Devin Larabee, Andrew Larabee, Chastity Weathersbee; Kristen Weathersbee and Douglas Weathersbee Jr; he has 7 great grandchildren and a numerous amount of friends and loved ones whom he loved dearly.

A memorial service for Robert will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia 30906.
