“Mrs. Robbie”, to those that knew and loved her was born and raised in Augusta, GA. She was a devout Christian lady, who loved the Lord, and was a proud member of Providence Baptist Church in Augusta. She was a devoted wife of over 30 years and a loving mother. Her purity of heart allowed her to love others unconditionally and display “her heart of gold” that she spent a lifetime pouring out to her entire family, friends and for others. Her heart poured over into her work, or one would say her passion, as her job wasn’t work to her. Her passion was working and caring for children with disabilities, “her Babies” as she referred to children. She recently retired after 12 years of service from Columbia County School’s transportation department where she served as a disability school bus aide monitor. Mrs. Robbie’s life will be celebrated by her favorite phrase “Don’t worry about me I will be fine; The Lord knows best” that encapsulates the semblance of her life and her non-wavering devoted faith in the Lord.
Mrs. Gregory is preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Linward Gregory, her parents, Robert and Mary Lou Reddy; and sisters, Judy Matthews, and Doris McGahee.
