Mindy Moore Dowdy

Mrs. Mindy Nicole Moore Dowdy, 26, of Augusta, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011. Mindy was a strong and tenacious young woman who had a tremendous love for life. She loved and adored her beautiful baby girls and cherished time spent with them. She was a generous and thoughtful person; always thinking of others. Mindy worked as a Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative for Sanford, Bruker & Banks.

Mindy is survived by her husband, Christian H. Dowdy; two daughters, Adeline Leighanne and Lilliana Ren Dowdy; her parents, Linda and Terry Moore; brother, Russell Owen Moore; aunts and uncles, Dawn Oliver, Heather Dickens, Margaret and Albert Pickett, Jimmy and Karin Dickens, Roger Moore and Richmond and Erika Huseman; mother and father-in-laws, Carol and Harold Vickers; father and mother –in-laws, John and Bonnie Dowdy; numerous cousins and a variety of friends. Mindy was preceded in death by her father, Tony Jackson Bufford and uncle, Q. Michael Dickens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2011 in the Telfair Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
