Mary E. Easler

Mary was born in Grovetown, GA to James J. Kelligan and Earnesteen Brown Kelligan on August 21, 1935. She went to school in Augusta, GA. She married Charles W. Easler on September 6, 1952, in Aiken, SC.

She was a domestic engineer throughout her 71 years of marriage, contributing much of her time to her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and catering and received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Free & Accepted Masons. She was also a member of the National Women’s Bowling Association for over 50 years.

Mary Easler was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Easler, son, Jerry Lee Easler, her parents, JJ Kelligan & Earnesteen Kelligan, and siblings, Betty, Bobby, Bud, Charlotte, and June.

Mary Easler is survived by her daughter Judy Moore (Joe), son Lionel Easler (Misty), 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and brother Douglas Kelligan.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, August 25, 2023, at Elliott & Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, GA.
