Linda J. Hill

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Linda Jones Hill entered into rest April 18, 2015. She was born December 20, 1949, in Augusta, GA, where she lived the majority of her life. She later became a resident of Powell, TN, where she lived for 10 years. She enjoyed working in retail as a sales clerk. Mrs. Linda Jones Hill was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Ed L. Jones and Mrs. Virginia Jones; brother, Danny Jones; son, William Ivey; and niece, Caren White. Survivors include a husband, Ronald H. Hill; stepson, Ronald G. Hill; brother, James E. (Nancy) Jones of Hephzibah, GA; sisters, Sara E. Williamson of Hephzibah, GA and Caroline V. Cone of Augusta, GA; niece, Stephanie (Levi) Wyrick; great-nieces, Heather White, Mallery Wyrick, Grace Wyrick; and great-nephew, Wyatt Wyrick. The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Ga. 30906. Graveside services will follow 3 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA 30906, with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating.
